Telling Our T’ai-chi Stories

To all students – past and present,

We who study at the Studio know the benefits of our practice, and we all have a story about how we began or discovered Twin Cities T’ai-chi Ch’uan. But we don’t always think about the unexpected benefits, like being more centered in our bodies, gained confidence, an appreciation for the struggle, or the value of investing in loss: the lessons that enhance the other parts of our lives and that we take with us, even when we’re not actively studying.

The Studio needs your help: Telling our own stories will create the Studio’s story and a compelling text we can use as testimonials for the website, in grants, and on promotional material. Join us for a guided workshop, where we tell our stories, enumerate the benefits of our practice, and reflect on the
unexpected gifts we’ve received.

We hope you will come.
